MOTU PCI 324/424 1.06 (Mac OS X)

MOTU

yes... the reason that your system is P.o.S. and crashes all the time is because your running a PCI-324 correct? if my guess is right then you are experience what me and 3 other users experienced, and what MOTU is denying is happening.. the PCI-324 system does NOT work with OS X.. the drivers = SUCK and after 30 minutes you will kernal panic.. its a problem with OS X and the audio card.. from reliable sources there is NOTHING that motu can do currently and apple would have to change things for them to accomadate the card.. as far as i know the PCI 424 card works FLAWLESSLY with the OS X drivers.. i just upgraded for 300 bucks from a pci-324 to 424 card and have not crashed since... if your using a MOTU card and OSX its the ONLY way to go, without having problems [alert admin]

Visage 1.2.4 (Mac OS X)

found this on his website...

However, neither Visage nor PowerManager will be completely functional until I finish updating them for Panther. A Panther compatible version of PowerManager will be released within the next week. A Panther compatible version of Visage will be released within the next 3 weeks. Thank you for your patience! ok... well its december 18th... and its been WAY more than 3 weeks and no information has even been released? don't think this app is going as smoothly as he previously expected. TransparentDock 2.1 (Mac OS X)

athansor

athansor, this is why you have a backup of your dock! if you would of restored the dock then your system would of been fine.. and you wouldnt of had to revert to some 10.2.3 OS you installed... theres no reason to warn you, cause you use this stuff at your own risk.. next time something with your dock happens.. remember.. its just a application, it doesnt really have aynthing to do with the core system.. its just a service that runs at startup... "core services" which can easily be replaced with a working copy.. ;) as far as the other programs not working correctly.. that could of just been coincidence because they were trying to talk to your damaged dock! ;) good luck in the future. all these bugs…

are fixed, and displaying filetypes and adding those is something you'd do with sherlock.. (comment below). Snard is the fastest menu system on the dock, and it keeps my dock smaller than it really is. [alert admin]
