MimMac 1.9 (Mac OS X)
No problems with MM registration.....!!!
I own 2 copies of MM which were activated on different hardware. I wanted to re-activate on my current hardware. I contacted the developer via email and got a reply within 10 minutes to try my re-activation (which BTW was successful ...) So yes.... It took me 1 min of effort to contact the developer.... 10 minutes later, I was registered. Unlike the rant above ....which must have taken 10 times the effort... And I agree.... with the previous comment.... "lecturing the developer" ...hilarious!!! [alert admin]

ScreenRecord 2.0 (Mac OS X)
I tested it quickly.... it worked ....so I bought it. I wanted a capture that saved to disk right away, unlike the post-processing of Snapz... Haven't tested fully ...but will within the next week. THe app does what it says. Price is reasonable..... [alert admin]

Toast Titanium 9.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I guess I should save some $$$
....have been using Toast since ...well I can't remember. And I religiously upgraded every major rev since v8. The last upgrade to v8 has left a sour taste in my mouth. First off, I could not get, nor find a way to get the promised Roxio upgrade rebate, so I gave up....and bit it. Second, v8 has been regularly unstable (crashing and all) and left me with many coasters .... Now... current comments are coming in that v9 is unstable?? Holy $%#& ....time to look for an alternative... Roxio, get your $%#& together!!!! [alert admin]

MobileSyncBrowser 0.5 (Mac OS X)
...waiting for 3-4 min for the feedback bar to say it's 75% done scanning is a little too much to handle. That's when it got killed.....Ok, OK so I re-launched, and waited and waited. Got my iPhone scanned ...then viewed my SMS's ....(BTW,scroll bar doesn't work) ...then watched the CPU race to 90%. Thanks but no thanks. [alert admin]

SOHO Notes 6.5 (Mac OS X)
Geeeeezusssss, I avoided until now... and thought I'd try again. Try something as simple as this... Select a note, and hit delete. The next note in sequence gets highlighted and gets deleted if you confirm delete. WTF, ....gives me lots of confidence!!! The selected record GETS DELETED only if you tell SOHO to delete without a confirmation dialog!!! Also seaching doesn't work ....and "Rebuild Seach Index" does nothing!!! Doesn't somebody TEST something as simple as this???? I would love to use SOHO one of these days ....but when. I've given up hope!! [alert admin]

PasswordWallet 4.1 (Mac OS X)
Have been using PW for many years. Secure and functional. I was worried how I'm going to cope without it since I'm migrating from a palm clie to the iPhone. Well ... v4.1 has an elegant solution for the iPhone, and an export to an encrypted web page function. Very very useful! I highly recommend PW .... Reasonable in price and very secure keeper of any kind of data. [alert admin]

Great improvements, high price, destructive SOHO Sync
I have given up long long ago... I will never ever try to see if SOHO has improved with version, because each time, I also spent days cleaning up the mess it left behind. The feature set is fantastic... if it worked. Syncing is a mess......!!

.....so with the bugs, slooooowness, and all around instability of past v6 versions, why am I always coming back to see if this swiss-army knife of a notes-taking and org app is finally back from the F'nn dead? I've used and own Jotz, StickyB/SOHO, DevonT, Yojimbo and have archives in all of them. Currently using Yojimbo with archives into DevonT. With the feature set of SOHO, I so want to use it again.…

WHAT AN IDIOT! nothing is worth this brain damage
I cannot understand how the poster can give a bad review to this product based on his own stupidity. I for one have been using FS for a long time...and the registration process and file are the easiest things to work with....even across multiple machines!!! Duhhhhh! Poor Softobe...that has to deal with guys like this!!!
