Chroma player 2007.2 (Mac OS X)

Excellent

I used VLC for almost 2 years for all my video files QuickTime couldn't play or play without sound . I just got frustrated with all the crashes and bad subtitile handling from VLC and I decided to do a search on versiontracker for any other AVI player . I came across Chroma Player . I tried all the files and DVD folders I knew as not working . I was amazed to see they all work seamlessly . Excellent audio synchronization , great subtitile handling. [alert admin]

mpc2aiff 1.2 (Mac OS X)

how about Tiger ?

how does this work on Tiger ? I unstuffed the archive but it seems there are no files in the newly created folder , so....thanx for help . and who invented the mpc format anyway ? i thought this was supposed to make a difference...i mean Mac users have their standard audio video formats , and pc users can handle all the other hundreds of audio and video formats hoping they will find one that actually sound or look good . NO SUPPORT FOR RMVB PLAYBACK?

I agree It's a bit expensive for a video player nowadays but this one is really good . As for rrnvb files I wouldn't imagine you haven't heard of Real Player for Mac and if you want a player that can play all the files you will ever com across I can tell you for sure there is no such thing for any operating system yet . And...Real Player is free .

also, NO SUPPORT for .sub files!!!

For .sub files you just have to go to Chroma / Preferences / File Types and check the little box that says .sub under the lower half of the window that says "Open these subtitle files with Chroma" . Worked for me....
