FileControl 1.15 (Mac OS X)
Not Freeware. Not even Shareware. Just a Trial/Demo. 
"When you first install and use FileControl, it will be running in Trial mode where it has the following limitations: • FileControl will only process 5,000 items (folders + files) • FileControl will not show the deleted items (i.e., only new and changed items will be shown) • the Trial will expire 4 weeks after being installed FileControl will remind you of these limitations, when applicable." -FileControl ReadMe.rtfd "Freeware"? Clone Window 1.3.1 (Mac OS X)
I've tried all manner of methods and scripts for duplicating Finder windows, and this one is the fastest, easiest, and most stable. I especially like the way the new window is placed "cascade" style just in front of the first. I agree -- this should be a resident feature in OS X. Thanks for this app. [alert admin]
