StuffIt Deluxe 8.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Great Soft

I don't understand WTF are you complaining about! This is a great piece of software with lots of features. The integrated archive option in Panther is still a really BASIC feature. With Stuffit Deluxe you can look inside archives with a simple ctrl-click, you can compress in whatever format (sit,zip,tar,gz,bz,tgz...) you need and you can expand/compress things simply by deleting/adding the relative extension (".zip", ".sit", ...) at the end of the archive/file's name. Thanks Aladdin! [alert admin]

iCommune 2.0a1 (Mac OS X)

jon, yes: there's…

a site which publishes shared collections. It's called iSCA "iCommune Shared Collections Archive" and it's a forum-based website with Guest posting allowed. You can find it here: http://icommune.doesntexist.com/ [alert admin]

This browser simply…

KICKS ASS. Really. It's the BEST! If you've never used it, download it RIGHT NOW! My 2 favorites features: [command-T] to open a new "Tab" and command-click on a link to open it in a new "Tab" instead of in a new window (you have to activate this in the Preferences: go to Preferences->Navigator->TabbedBrowsing and select all checkboxes). If you hate (like me) to have 30 windows opened at the same time (like in IE) and don't know how to switch between them => DOWNLOAD MOZILLA AND USE TABS! [alert admin]

The "tabs" feature…

is really really really cool!!! quote from the great site "macosxhints.com": To create a tab, simply hit control-T (not command-T!). Once created, click on a tab to activate it. Switching among the tabbed pages is nearly instantaneous. You can even switch tabs while loading a page in one tab; Mozilla treats each tab as an independent window, so that multiple tabs can all be loading simultaneously. To delete a tab, simply close the window it's displaying (using the "X" at the right edge of the row of tabs). This functionality in Mozilla is a small subset of a third-party product called MultiZilla, which has many additional features. It should be possible to get this running on Mozilla on OS X, but I haven't tried as of yet. To try out tabbed browsing, you'll need to get the latest nightly build for OS X, as tabs are NOT in the latest milestone (0.94) release. [alert admin]
