MacOSaiX 2.0a3 (Mac OS X)
Quantum leap of improvement since last alpha release, but a lot room for improvement. a nice basic feature i'd like to request is "save as" option. What if I completed a mosaic, but decided to try a version with additional image source? This is a cpu intensive program (which i don't blame), and building a new mosaic will take awhile. Another thing is, If I try to build two different mosaics at the same time, it crashes and on some occasion while i'm using it alone(I'll send you my log) so therefore, i have to rely on save every 1 minute option, which forces me to slow down the application. Also what happened to "original and mosaic comparision" side-by-side viewing? Also i know this will make the program even slower, but i'd like an option for tile resolution... it maybe too much to ask, but I have to comment that for professionals, the tiles don't look good when i zoom in. I'll give in to leave my computer render for 6 hours if such option as having a 500mb final mosaic image file, is available. On the bright side, I love the new ability to reuse an image on different tiles and its options, and iphoto source addition. Look forward first Gold Master Stage. [alert admin]

Adobe InDesign CS 3.0.1.814 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
yeah after i upgraded because i couldn't open the files without upgrading, indesign quits whenever i try to edit. I click on anything I import and it just quits. I searched around, and how come no body knows how to fix this? also how do I downgrade to the previous versions? [alert admin]

Symantec Norton SystemWorks 3.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
norton systemworks works well... however, do NOT install this on your machine, just boot off the cd, and you should be fine. Any mac users should be informed that norton products creates more problems than it solves. Trust me on this. [alert admin]

Music Recommendation 1.0 (Mac OS X)
yep, like the developer said, the results are indeed laughable. The program does seem to work fine though. 2 suggestions: 1. add genre for the results, and 2. have a preference so that if i click on a song, iTunes wil automatically play from the itunes music store in the background (or better yet, play from shared users) Hope to see more people on the network! 2get 1.7.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
if they could get it working it'll be great.
despite the all the rants going on here, you can't deny the effort these guys are pushing. I gave it a try for the first time after about... i forgot the last time I tried, but anyway I have to say that a huge progress has been made. Interface is a lot better and all i have to say is that as long as it works in the future, it will join acqlite, poisoned, and limewire family. With all the ideas presented, it does look promising. Don't give up! [alert admin]

Forty-Two DVD-VX Plus 1.5.4 (Mac OS X)
no response from developer + serial doesn't work when you reinstall.
developer's response used to be great, but not anymore. Ever since i had to reinstall my os, I could not register and i tried e-mailing them to ask why but no response.... god damn it, it's really good to know that i wasted my money. [alert admin]

CoolBackground 2.3 (Mac OS X)
when i use exposé, the background either fades (with F9 and F10) or shift out of the screen (with F11). I'm guessing this happens because exposé will recognize it as an app running in full screen. So I'm guessing this is a thing really hard to fix or simply impossible due to the nature of how exposé works. I wish the developer knows how to deal with this in the future because that'll be really sweet. For now, I'll use (although ironically i thought i would never need it again due to exposé's F11) I'll use ShowDesktop whenever this app is running. [alert admin]

I forgot to add that this version seems significantly more stable than previous release.

try deleting the ~/Library/preference/com.heat.meteo.plist and relaunch meteologist again. That might help.

where the hell is the installer downloadable
yeah i wish it was like that too, but it doesn't work that way. You have to fill out your credit card # and you get a trial version for 14 days. If you don't cancel, they'll start charging you after the 14th day. Yeah, it's pretty bad, I wouldn't trust realone because of this. Not only is it a little risky, it's also pain in the ass.

yeah i guess i'm not the only one. go to synergy preference and reduce the communication time between itunes and synergy (I have it to 1.0 sec). The only downside to this is the fact that it used a little more cpu

why not avi? because you can't play them? use mplayer or vlc to play them. If your computer's slow, use divx doctor.

can't wait for this feature. I also wish the searching for lyrics works a lot faster. I have 9.7 gigs of songs and it takes more than 3 hours to download all of them (by the way I have cable connection, and my mac is dual 1.25).
