GraphicConverter X 6.0 (Mac OS X)
This version of GC crashes whenever I try to open MOST animated gifs, especially those which I have created with earlier versions of GC; however, the crashes are not restricted to those. [alert admin]

MacProgramGuide 0.53 (Mac OS X)
This went from a decent app to a useless one in a few minutes. The new version doesn't download anything from zap2it. The version before last also had a flawed search engine. It seems the creator doesn't test too well. Don't install this version! [alert admin]

ImageBurner 2.0 (Mac OS X)
I like the convenience of context menu accessiblity, but I do find it slower than Disk Utility, and the only time I tried an .iso file, it wouldn't recognize it. [alert admin]

iSwipe 1.7.6 (Mac OS X)
This version is so slow in all its reactions you might think it was dead, except for the spinning beachball. Not only that, it slows up everything else you have running. It is pathetic! [alert admin]

Acquisition 123.3 (Mac OS X)
This is the first time I have registered Acquisition. I should have tried out this version first, before I did. It doesn't work at all! Searches return no results, although it says it is connected, and although the "Find New Files on the Network" menu item reurns a list, not of them are downloadable. My email to the Acquisition got me a form letter reply. Don't buy it, until you try it! [alert admin]

Fat Cat 0.6 works great for me, but I have one criticism. On start-up. it re-loads the previously downloaded data, so you end up looking at old schedules until you click on Listings>Get New. It would make much more sense if it automatically got up-to-the minute listings every time you opened it. [alert admin]

LetsSee X 2.1 (Mac OS X)
The latest upgrade to Tiger (10.4.2) seems to have put the axe to LetsSee. It has become even more unstable than before, and quits without warning. However, the Classic version still works fine. [alert admin]

IPer 1.4 (Mac OS X)
This program had two effects when I ran it under OS9.2: it froze my computer, and on restart, I was offline. I had to do a full shutdown to recover my dynamic IP. This happened three times, even when I had disabled any program which might be conflicting with it! [alert admin]

ZeboPhoto 1.3.7 (Mac OS 9)
Did anyone notice that it grabs a massive 120MB of memory? [alert admin]

Apple iTunes 4.1 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
Better Than the Classic Mac Version
because it has sound levelling which the mac version doesn't. In every other way I find it just as good as the original! [alert admin]

Within 24 hours of my notifying them of the problem, Lemke's crew had corrected it and sent me a beta with the corrections. I am sure that a new update will be found on here withing days. Five stars for them!

I tried v2.5.2 again late last night and actually got an error message which said "The application Yahoo messenger has quit, possibly because the server which contains it has been disconnected" - whatever that means, but it is sure more informative than "type 2" or "type3"
