Spyware Eliminator 3.5.4 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
I tried this spyware from a download at this site. It did the scan and upon clean up of spyware it locked up my computer. After going thru this three times and having to do a restore each time, I contacted the company. I received the auto-generated e-mail response. After several days of repeated inquires I did happen upon a technician on a company message forum. He did make a brief attempt to help but as of this writing, I have yet to hear from this company! I sent a message last week to my state consumers affairs and also to this company for a refund. I received an e-mail saying they would credit my account. We will see. If you want to deal with a company that has no customer service and is unwilling to help there patrons then feel free to buy their program. I was only trying to get help in using their product but all they care about is the credit card number. [alert admin]
