Being a big Boxee user I was surprised how many options this mediacenter app has. It takes a while to figure it all out but once it's up and running all works very well. Recommended. [alert admin]

VideoDrive 1.6.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Excellent tool if you use your Mac as a media center. Any movie file will be added to iTunes so you can organize them correctly. Very recommended :) [alert admin]

Perian 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Hi, First off all : I love perian. Trash all other divx.xvid codecs and just use this. This release also plays .srt files in Quicktime. So no need to use VLC for this anymore. Perian 1.1 does have issues with Front Row (10.5.1 and latest QuickTime update) It plays your .avi file with .srt file untill the subtitles start.. black screen. Other files without extra.srt files do have this problem too. All worked fine under 1.0 though. So everything works like a charm but not in Front Row. Please fix this soon! I only use Front Row for media playback. [alert admin]

This is from the makers of connect360 nuff said. Excellent product and good support! For the moment it's a bit rough around the edges but I have all the faith in these guys. This is a way better solution than Twonky or EyeConnect. [alert admin]

This is just the best mediacenter app out there. Forget about all the others. Trust me. Five stars and great support too. Why? It looks great! There are skins. Easy to manage. Just works. Coverflow on your lcd-tv! All content available via a remote. Plays almost every video file even from mounted volumes! Got a MacMini? Got a big Tv? Got loads of movies, music and pictures? Try it! nice and easy to use. It's a dream. Only trouble is the whole muxing-demuxing process.. Just ad a menu....export to iDVD/iMove and ready... than it would be 100% Video Quality is surprisingly good considering that it works over USB. [alert admin]
