Default Folder X 4.0.5 (Mac OS X)
For those gun shy, 4.0.5 fixed what ever was wrong with 4.0.4. Great product, consider it one of my greatest productivity booster. [alert admin]

PimpMyDock 1.3 (Mac OS X)
does what it says and is the most featured of it's kind (so far). Glad someone brought a UI and customizable face to pimping Leopard's dock. [alert admin]

Icon2Image 1.2.3 (Mac OS X)
I'm forever grateful and appreciative to the many many coders out there extending and enhancing the Mac experience, but I have to 100% agree that not only is this product overpriced for what it does, it's irrelevant. To capture an icon to use as an image file simply: 1 Copy it from it's Get Info box 2. Open Preview and Paste from the clipboard (no need to create a New doc) 3. Save out as PMG file. 4. Open that file in Photoshop (etc) and there you'll see the icon as an image with it's alpha channel (aka) transparency in tact at it's full size. [alert admin]

Adobe Reader 8.0 (Mac OS X)
While Reader isn't perfect, this update is clearly better then previous versions. It loads quicker and I enjoy the cleanliness of this design. It just feels cleaner/easier. [alert admin]

Adobe Reader 8.0 (Mac OS X)
Was able to download, open view documents...for a minute or two. Then it shuts down. Lame. Haven't had any problems with Reader...until this version. Running 10.4.8 PPC 1.33 Powerbook, plenty of RAM and HD space. [alert admin]

I found the actual script worked well enough, but the site it's trying to search is very weak. About half of my song searches are 'not found.' Frustrating. [alert admin]

I have the same issue...my system isn't freezing, only Firefox quitting about 1x a day. I've stripped out extensions and don't have any consistent behavior (sites, actions etc). Just random.

While I can't speak to it working on a dial-up (why!?) I can speak to it's simple, clean interface and it's tight integration with OSX. Cabos shares the same layout and graphic look/feel as iTunes. Your review (and desire to use dial-up) makes me wonder if you're using the most current version, OSX and iTunes.

For what it's worth, I beleive there is a huge market for enhancing iCal to be able to do things like Frictionless + time tracking. My wish is for calendar, to-do's, be able to project manage and time tracking all in one app - or at least have a few that work together. Many Mac users are designers and many are freelancers that need to manage projects, track time and keep a tight calendar on…
