MenuCalendarClock for iCal 3.1.6 (Mac OS X)

Need help and Can't Get

I'm using version 3.1.6 and have emailed the developer repeatedly to no avail: I love this app except since I upgraded to this version, I cannot use the birthday calendar feature. When I first set it up, it works fine but the next time I restart/login menucalendarclock hangs, failing to fully launch and using up most of the computer's resources. The only solution is to dump my preferences file, force quit the app, and then restart it. It's very frustrating now that I have an iPhone and want to sync my birthdays calendar. [alert admin]

MailUnreadStatusBar 0.6.6 (Mac OS X)

Great little app!

Works well. I for one am glad it doesn't open Mail automatically. It would be great tho if the message viewer worked better. When I click on a message in the menu, the viewer opens, but it doesn't go to the selected message. Anyway, that's a small feature request I guess, but overall terrific app. [alert admin]

MenuCalendarClock for iCal 3.1.2 (Mac OS X)

Still a no-go

I'm a long-time user of this app, but these latest upgrades are getting very frustrataing. I wasn't able to use version 3.1.1 because it hung up my entire system upon installation. I tried 3.1.2. Same story, though it got further along in the install process. Could see the dock icon but it never showed up in the menu bar and it hung the system again. [alert admin]

Hockey Widget 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)

Version 1.0.4 bug?

Overall, love me some hockey widget! Since I updated to the latest version, though, I can seem to get any info. The gear just spins and spins! [alert admin]

Organized Gourmet 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)

Mostly great.

This is well thought out program with some nice features. I like the new recipe scaling and would like even more functionality in that area. The calendar function is super. I've had some minor trouble with importing and .Mac syncing, mainly multiple versions of the same recipe and problems with recipe names. In the future, I'd like the addition of ingredients and units to be more automated and less labor intensive, I'd love to see some place to include equipment like you have for ingredients, such as proper sized baking pans, special gadgets, etc. That would really help when sharing recipes with others. Also, I have ShopMagic on my blackberry and integration with the Grocery list would be a joy. Overall, a great program much improved. [alert admin]

Need help and Can't Get

UPDATE: The developer has now responded to my repeated emails and seems to be genuinely committed to resolving my issue. Still a great app. Will be greater once this problem is fixed!

Damages iCal

I had a similar experience. Running automation in Onyx 1.9.5 on a PowerBook G4 with OS 10.5.2. The automation hung at "Deleting Hidden DS.store files". I had to Force Quit Onyx and restart then spend all day running a repair in Disk Utility on my Time Machine Backups disk image (using an Airport Disk for backups). Both the Disk Utility and Time Machine crashed on the file at least once before it was finally successfully…

This version won't run!

Having the same problem on my PowerBook G4 running 10.5.1 and now also on 10.5.2. I thought it was conflicting w/another app so I uninstalled both and tried again, but no luck. This update hangs and uses up all my machine's resources. I've had to quit it through Activity Monitor and restore version 3.0.6 to continue using.
