Apple WaveBurner 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
Error Message "no program to update has been found" also appears when a previous version of Waveburner is already installed in applications folder. I'm running Mac OS 10.4.2 with Logic Pro 7.1.0 and WaveBurner 1.029 (which is the latest version that came with the Logic Pro 7.1-Upgrade). [alert admin]

FutureDecks Lite 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
FutureDecks is getting better now that iTunes-integration is there, but there's still room for improvement: bpm-detection is incorrect most of the time ("Only you" by Yazoo on 140 bpm???), still no proper help file, and some of its sound-effects don't do anything at all (Phase, Reverb, Echo), whereas others sound really quirky (Autopan, Flanger, Delay). It would also be nice if Automix-Function wouldn't sync bpm automatically... But the one thing that makes FutureDecks indispensable is its ability to record one's mixes. As the guys at Xylio seem to pay attention to their customers, I'm having great hopes for the future. [alert admin]

FutureDecks Lite 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Looked promising at first with nice features, hence I gave it a try - just to find out that Futuredecks offers no iTunes-integration and no Drag & Drop-support! But once I figured out how to load songs into Futuredecks (not intuitive at all without proper help files), this software provided low fi-sound and started crashing. I'll stick to DJ-1800 instead... Euphoria 1.7 (Mac OS X)
Awkwardly slow on an 20" iMac G5, PC-ish GUI and filters that are not as good as those of AlienSkin - a bit of a disappointment. Would be okay if they sold it for 50 Bucks, but definitely not worth the price they're asking for... [alert admin]
