Carbon Copy Cloner 3.0 (Mac OS X)
I used v2.3 several times to make disc images of entire discs to external drives. Worked perfectly, but in v3.0 this feature no longer works. The application delivers several different error messages. Known bug, according to the author. But that didn't help me when I needed to backup my computer yesterday. [alert admin]

SnapWeb 4.0 r1 (Mac OS X)
Since I have automated a process of taking snapshots of up to ten sites every fifteen minutes, I need a tool that is very flexible and scriptable and of course stable. From version 4 I can even run this from the command line. Excellent tool! [alert admin]

Cisco VPN Client 4.6.03.0160 (Mac OS X)
Can just agree with the previous users. Hangs the computer, often I need to restart just to make it work after one successful VPN session. "Error 51: IPC Socket allocation failed with error FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFCH. This is most likely due to the Cisco Systems Inc. VPN Service not being started. Please start this service and try again." But it works better with Tiger than my old version... [alert admin]

QuickMovie 1.5.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Works fine - want AppleScript support 
I use this app once in a while to generate a movie of a series of screen dumps of web pages (taken with SnapWeb). It's easy and works like a dream. But I would really appreciate a support for AppleScript: tell application QuickMovie load settings add images from myFolder save movie in anotherFolder end tell [alert admin]

SnapWeb 2.0 r1 (Mac OS X)
i have used the program for a short time, and it works very good. As someone said - there is not many programs for MacOS X that can capture a complete page. However there are room for some improvement, but I have heard of a new version coming up soon. :-)) i use this to archive our webpage every 15 minutes (a newspaper site). [alert admin]

VersionTracker Pro 3.5.2 (Mac OS X)

The solution: open Terminal and delete the hidden file that ends with pvs.lock in your folder with the virtual machine. In my case I wrote: cd ~/Library/Parallels/winxp/ rm .winxp.pvs.lock /johan

Cannot open the new Pararrels a second time
I too have the exact same problem with exactly the same hardware setup. My computer shut down due to lack of power. Happens sometimes. After I connected the power cord, I had to restart the computer and after that my virtual machine won't start. It says that another virtual machine is using it. But it was excellent up to this!!! This will completely revolutionize the way I work with my computer!

Use Spamfire! It deletes 3000 mail every day on six of our key mail accounts. Updates from the author every day with new rules to filter out spam. The best I have seen and a life saver now!
