iClip 3.2.1 (Mac OS X)
But is it better than CopyPaste?
Looks nice, but is it better than CopyPaste? CopyPaste uses a lot of system overheads, if this has a lower footprint I might be interested. Does anyone have any thoughts on how they compare? [alert admin]

I was expecting a LOT more from this app than I could get in Mail, but it really does leave a lot to be desired. For at least the last few releases I have had to find out about it here on Version Tracker. They don't email me and the "Auto Update" feature just doesn't work. I also can't get the Spamfire.net filters to work - it keeps telling me there is a problem with my computer, but nothing else has a problem. I just can't see the need for this app if you have Mail from Apple set up to filter junk mail and you have the Spamcop plug in installed. Too expensive for what it does. [alert admin]

I really LOVE this product. Gammo: I had the same trouble you did with spammers using my own email address to send me spam. It is really easy to filter your own email address. I had no trouble setting this uo under the "Always Reject" options. Took me 10 seconds - seriously easy to set up. Does what it promises to do and saves my in-box from being filled up with cr*p. Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 (Mac OS X)
I don't know what you're complaining about. If you already use Dreamweaver MX then you will LOVE this release. You can resize images in the page because it integrates with Fireworks - try that a few times and you will not be able to face the idea of having to go into Fireworks or Photoshop to shrink/edit a gif or jpeg. What about the fact you can now upload just the updated image by uploading the page instead of having to dig through your image folder and upload that? I run a G4/700mhz with 1 gig of RAM and while it isn't blindingly fast (and they should work on that) if you use GoLive or Dreamweaver MX you have GOT to try this out. The ease of CSS is awesome, it also comes with heaps of built in stylesheets if you are a novice. The PHP improvements are also great. I don't code in ASP or JSP, but I'd guess they are improved too. The built in O'Reilly references are a life saver and if you need any help just go to the dreamweaver forum and people will answer any question you can throw at them. I do think the upgrade price is a bit steep though. [alert admin]

So rude trying to get people to pay for this! ![]()

There is one main use for this App. I'm sure there might be legitimate uses for this but I can't think of any unless they are 'theoretial'. Given that people use this app to pirate music and steal software, how can they ask us to pay for it? Its cheeky, very cheeky. I prefer Direct Connect, Poisoned or mlmac - and none of them have the gaul to charge for it. [alert admin]

How come I see on Versiontracker there is a newer version but the Spamfire application tells me I am using the latest version? It even updated my spam filters this morning, but it didn't tell me there was a new version? If its talking to the server why can't it tell that there is a new version? Bit silly...
