HP OfficeJet G series 7.3.1 (Mac OS X)
Hi there. If you only need the drivers for printing, you won't want these driver here - they're pretty ugly... Searching for alternatives, I found the GIMP-Drivers, but they don't support the G55. But here is the trick: They DO support the DeskJet900 series and the 900-Drivers were reported to work with the G55. So before trying the GIMP-Drivers, I tried the "official" DeskJet900 Series drivers bundled with OSX and *jingle* it works! They should work with other G-Series too, but I can't prove it... So you actually don't need the GIMP-Print drivers, just those bundled with OSX. PS: On Windows XP you can install the driver, uninstall and then add the driver manually as the pure printer driver remains on the system (pretty ugly, but useful this time). You can also unpack the installer (using 7zip or Winrar), locate the .inf file and install manually - but this one's for the more experienced... [alert admin]
