ABDialer 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
ABDialer not working on G4 under 10.5.2
Just a warning -- I've been using ABDialer for years, then upgraded my G4 Quicksilver to 10.5.2 and BuddyPop no longer works. The Apple Internal Modem does not dial (there's a discussion thread about the issue at http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6935046). I know the modem is OK because other comms programmes like ZTerm operate normally. So it is a software issue -- either with 10.5.2 or ABDialer (or both). I've emailed Macron twice over the last 3 weeks but have not received any response. Like others here I assume ABDialer is no longer supported. [alert admin]

BuddyPop not working on G4 running Leopard

I've emailed the developer twice over the last 3 weeks but have not received any response. So I can't confirm that BuddyPop is still supported. [alert admin]

Smile 3.1.4 (Mac OS X)
...v 3.1.x does not work with OS X 10.3.9 as stated on VT, it is for 10.4 and higher only. [alert admin]

iCDc 4.3.3 (Mac OS X)
Does exactly what it says it does, integration with iTunes is brilliant. Crashes occasionally when adding art, but otherwise excellent. Thanks -- just what I needed for keeping track of CDs (including who I've lent them to). [alert admin]

MacDialer 1.2 (Mac OS X)
Same experience as deasys, running OS X 10.2.8. My Address Book has only 250 entries. MacDialer consumed almost all CPU, the Quit menu item didn't have any effect, cmd-opt-esc to force-quit wasn't available, shutting down was the only way out. Tried it twice, same result. Trashed it, everything back to normal. Something badly wrong here. Use ABDialer instead, functions are much the same as MacDialer, except it works. [alert admin]
