HexAddict 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Gah, it is addictive!

Hmmm, let's just see what this is about.... two hours later... damn... this is just a Minesweeper clone, of course, but it looks good and the explosion sound effect when you make a mistake is infuriatingly antagonising. :) Well done, overall. [alert admin]

Screencast 1.0.5 (Mac OS X)

First impression is very good

The GUI is well designed, attractive and pretty intuitive. Capture is - while not always flawless - thus far always very good, even at 1920x1200. I've only just tested it (and purchased it), so this isn't a conclusive review, but I'm very happy thus far. [alert admin]

4G iPodLinux Installer 0.3 (Mac OS X)

Pretty cool

Works without problem - I actually thought it would have to reformat or otherwise mess up my iPod to install, but it went happily in with what was already there... so now I've got Linux, and all my old stuff, happily co-existing... don't know what I'm going to do with the Linux stuff, but hey, geek's don't ask silly questions like "why?". ;) [alert admin]

Bits on Wheels 1.0 PR1.4 (Mac OS X)

Too many bugs

1) Uses just as much CPU time as the official client. 2) Doesn't have any settable share ratio; keep sharing until you manually stop it. 3) Doesn't queue torrents. 4) Doesn't have a global upload limit (or any global limits, for that matter) 5) Default settings (re. maximum uploads, connections, etc) are completely unsuitable for your average ADSL connection.
