Bug searching for groups with spaces in the name
Hm, there seems to be a bug with finding groups that have spaces in their names. I'm working on a fix but if you know the group ID, please use that instead (unless the group has no spaces in the name). [alert admin]

Hot Spot X 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Game should work now. I submitted a new version that should fix the bug that prevented the game from being playable. Download link remains the same. [alert admin]

Pawns 1.0.7 (Mac OS X)
Pawns is a pretty fun game. Graphically, it could be better but for six weeks of work, it's pretty good. [alert admin]

Kill Monty 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
Just to point out, it's not like Freeverse went out and stole the source code for Kill Dr. Cote and then recompiled it with their own assets. My guess is they approached Justin (the developer) and offered him a deal: http://www.idevgames.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8743 Personally, I think it's great that Freeverse did that. I went and registered my copy straight away to support both Freeverse publishing independent Mac game developers and Justin himself for the great work he did with the original and the remake. Web Dailies 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Yeah, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that AppleBear didn't read the Help file provided under the Help menu or on the website itself. Yeesh. [alert admin]

Mine Swept 1.01 (Mac OS X)
Developer chiming in on crashing at startup...
Uh, is anyone else crashing on start-up running 10.3? I've gotten another review on an other site saying that the game crashes on start-up under 10.2 but the requirements clearly state that 10.3 is required. If you're running 10.2 and trying to play Mine Swept, well, there's not much I can do unless you e-mail me and help me work out why it's crashing because I don't have access to a 10.2 system. Uh, what? I'm not sure what you mean by "no color and can't expand to the screen" considering that, well, all the graphics I use have color, you can substitute your own icons if you don't like mine, and you can set the dimensions of the field to whatever you want so I'm confused as to what your complaints are.

Hi, Did you have a previous version of Mine Swept installed? The high score handler might be getting confused by the old high scores format. If not, can you e-mail me your high scores file? It would be in your home directory under Library/Application Support/Mine Swept. Is anyone else having these kinds of problems?

Well, you could always add it to your start-up items. That way it always runs whenever you log in.

Hrm, that's odd. I develop on a 10.3.4 system. What kind of computer are you using? The only machines I have access for testing on are a 400Mhz Powerbook G3 and a 1.8Ghz G5. Is anyone else seeing this problem?

Really? I could've sworn in the version on Windows that you could still trigger a mine on your first move. My girlfriend pointed this out and said that in a version of Minesweeper she used to play, the game would mark a safe spot you can click on, which I've also included in my version. Go to Preferences and check "Highlight safe opening move".

Roland, what version of OSX are you using? Since I didn't have access to a 10.2 machine to test on, I set the system requirement to be 10.3, as stated in the download page. If you're running it under 10.3 and it crashes, then yeah, fine, rate it 1 star. But if you're running it under 10.2 when it clearly states that it needs 10.3 or later, then I think it's rather unfair to give…

Actually, I was trying to comment on the original poster's (rolandhardt) comment but the UI for doing that on VT isn't very clear.

What system are you running it on? I've gotten one other report of it crashing under 10.2 but all my calls for help to test under 10.2 have gone unanswered so I set the system requirements (as stated under the description) as requiring 10.3 or later.
