Norton PartitionMagic 8.01 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)

USELESS !!!! Can't create rescue disks or CD !!!!

Just installed on fresh XP machine. Weird error creating Rescue Disks, 4294967295 available, 145701 bytes needed. Tried another 2 XP machines and 4 other diskettes, same error. Tech support is $9 call to find out why, no updates or article on this error. Cannot make bootable CD like other partition tools, its the 21st century and many PC's do not come with floppies. Better off with Acronis Disk Director software. Sorry to be so harsh, but lots of money for disappointment. Thanx [alert admin]

A Must For Ebayers....

I love this app!!! It has lots of features and has made posting auctions easier. I did not read any literature, I just jumped in and started posting my auctions. Great starter templates and ability to import photos from iPhoto, jpegs, or a camera makes my auctions stand out. I can select my item catagory without going through the struggle of ebay online. They are often updating their software showing they are constantly on top of bugs or adding new features. Can't say enough great things. [alert admin]

Data Rescue 10.4.3 (Mac OS X)

Great product - Saved me twice in one week

Techtool 4 killed my drive after optimizing. Even TTP could not repair the damage. Data Rescue allowed me to see my files and restore the ones I needed. GREAT PRODUCT. [alert admin]

Window File Errors - 39

Does this new version solve my -39 errors on all of my windows clients? I have tried everything on their website to solve this problem. The files open fine on Windows computers (not damaged) and are not copied from a Macintosh. Otherwise, why upgrade. [alert admin]

Slower than Timbuktu.…

Irritating quirks - "Can't observer a screen that has less than 256 colors" eventhough the screen is set to millions. Sometimes I can't see what an error message says and i can't select proper action. I love Apple, but this software is very buggy and needs refinement. [alert admin]

DYMO LabelWriter X 6.0.0.30 (Mac OS X)

I tested the…

beta, and it worked fine with my Dual 1 GHZ running 10.2.3. When I install this, it gives me a message "Unable to open file '/Applications/Dymo Label/Label Files/Address (30252, 30320). I can click okay and use the program, but I need to create new labels. Otherwise, works great. [alert admin]

I do not…

get a mail alert in Os 9.2. I cannot drag an attachment from my mail to my desktop. Support is poor, help pages written for PC's, at least Microsoft has free online support. [alert admin]

Youpi Key 1.6.0 (Mac OS X)

This utility is…

great. I love it. The only problem I have is that it loses the shortcut locations when I restart. It worked fine in version 1.5.1. I removed the prefs and reinstalled the application, but it still did not fix it. Anyone else have this problem? [alert admin]

Dear Netscape, Why…

oh why must you always include AOL and AIM and the other annoying programs with your installer. It takes time to delete this unneeded stuff. It has been annoying since pre-4.7. [alert admin]

Rescue disk issue solved, but still not bootable CD

Errors creating Rescue Disks solved by turning off McAffee Virusscan, and basically booting up with only MS services. Floppies were able to be created. Still would rather bootable CD for ease and support on many other PC's without floppies.
