ArchDetect 1.2.1 (Mac OS X)
Nice quick tool to let you see what is native universal binary (intel) and older Power PC apps. For me - a large freeware/shareware user, I found I was in pretty good shape as far as current apps. Nice easy way to check for apps you have installed on your machine to see if they are re-compiled for Intel.. [alert admin]

Nice effort, but it's already done, works, and free.

Mac-Friendly Pkg Installer Please 
I'm a little confused. I *know* how to compile - so I dloaded this software. There is NOTHING to complile. I clicked on the versiontracker link and downloaded a .tgz file (tarred and zipped). Mac OS X handles this - I clicked on the app and it launched. What am I missing?
