Adobe InDesign CS3 5.0.2 (Mac OS X)

Installs only with admin account

The Updater only works if you are logged in as admin. A standard user just gets the message "succsessfully patched" but it isn't. [alert admin]

Cisco VPN Client 4.9.01 (0100) (Mac OS X)

This software sucks !

Fu** this little piece of software!! Though build 100 works with 10.5.1 (beside this ugly UI) but only the first time after a fresh restart. If the MBP goes to sleep the VPN Client can't connect anymore. A complete restart is the only workaround that helps. [alert admin]

Synergy 3.5a4 (Mac OS X)

Still doesn't start automatically

Also this new Beta doesn't succeed to start automatically while login. Furthermore: It shuts down automatically after some time (the control panels disappear) while running. Hope this great tool revovers fast :-)) (10.5.1 on a MBP 17", 2.33) [alert admin]

Apple Pages 2.0.1v2 (Mac OS X)

This piece of crap ...

... should be still called "Beta". There are so many bugs in Pages - it's frustrating (reminds me of InDesign 1.0). Most famous is the formula-comma-bug (for non US versions) which still isn't fixed, although Apple must be aware of it (btw: you can use "16/100" instead of "0,16" as a workaround). To layout tables is so annoying (gladly you can use table borders thinner then 1 pt now - bravo Apple). Global cell settings in the table inspector for cells with different text rows don't work. Cell heights change randomly if you add/delete cells etc. I love mostly every Apple stuff, but Pages makes me angry. PLEASE APPLE MAKE YOUR HOMEWORK !!!!!!!!! [alert admin]
