Apple iPod Updater 2.1 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
Version 2.1 creates a problem for 3G iPods working with Windows. While docked it has become impossible to use the iPod, with a constant OK to disconnect frozen on the poor little pod. This is obviosly a bug since the same behavior does not occur with Macs. Though there are some good features introduced you should hold off updating if you have a 3G iPod and you use it with Windows.
