Dropbox 0.6.550 (Mac OS X)
I'm using dropbox now for almost a year and are subscriber for the 100GB plan - and my dropbox is almost full already. It works perfectly, exactly as advertised.
The price is very fair and the usage couldn't be any easier.
And if you want to help me a bit, use this link if you sign up - gives me a little bit of additional storage space (referral campaign):

Synergy 3.5.1a (Mac OS X)
Synergy is the name of a well known program to share mouse and keyboard between different computers and/or operating systems: http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/ Calling this program Synergy as well will just cause confusion. [alert admin]

Apple Safari 4.0 (Mac OS X)
For some weird reasons it still refuses to reopen gmail.com when recovering tabs after a restart. Pretty much all other tabs get restored but never gmail.com. But it's fast. [alert admin]

Fluid 0.9.6 (Mac OS X)
Works great with most web apps. Doesn't work with iGoogle though. Missing an easy way to copy the url. Currently the only way seems to be via tinyurl. Sometimes has issues with opening links (don't always go into the main browser but happen to open a tab in the standalone app), no big deal though. [alert admin]

Mozilla Firefox 3.0.8 (Mac OS X)
One of the best browsers out there! ![]()

Available for a multitude of platforms and generalle stable and fast - this is the browser of my choice. A myriad of available extension make it possible to customize Firefox to fit almost any taste. The only backdraw is the memory consumption when using a lot of tabs over a long period of time. [alert admin]

Logitech Control Center 2.7 (Mac OS X)
Still no support for major products like MX 5500 - sucks! ![]()

The driver software is pretty useless for the majority of the Logitech products as barely anything is supported. The software is nagging to register without even detecting any supported hardware - bad. [alert admin]

Lotus Notes 8.5 (Mac OS X)
I've been using 8.5Beta1 for a few days and upgraded to the release today - Notes now crashes during the startup The RC1 was working ok but pretty slow so I was hoping for a better performance, no luck though. [alert admin]

Viscosity 0.6 (Mac OS X)
It works fine but is not bug free yet. When disconnecting from a vpn connection it leaves me without network. So I have to reconnect my physical network to get it up and running again. Just a minor annoyance, hopefully fixed in the release. [alert admin]

Giving Firefox only 1 star for its features while cheering for Safari is a bit hypocritical. Which feature is missing that Safari offers? It's rather the other way around: there is barely any browser that has more features than Firefox.

It's likely that this is the result of what the Internet Explorer brought us: webpages that are only working on certain browsers. It's rarely the Firefox' fault when a page is not rendered correctly.

No, it doesn't work like this for every client. Most of the other clients allocate hard disk space when needed, not everything in advance. There is no real need for it.
