lamp can be switched off  

Dear Microtek V6USL and SilverFast users since version 6.4.1r3 you can define ( > "Options" > "Spezial" ) an inactivity interval after which the scanner lamp will automatically be switched off. Best regards Sonny Noack - Manager Technical Support, LaserSoft Imaging AG - [alert admin]

Works well with one exception
