iTerm 0.9.0 (Mac OS X)

Excellent but...

It is still way too buggy! If it wasn't for the bugs, i'd use it everyday. I love it :-) [alert admin]

iTerm 0.8.2 (Mac OS X)

too damn slow

it's very nice already, BUT totally unusable even on a €2500 machine because of its slowness. It's sluggish! Some people complain about Terminal.app delaying software compiles by a double digit percentage of the total time required and thus recommend xterm to do stuff like that, I don't even want to begin to think what they would say of iTerm. Btw, it also doesn't seem to be doing transparency very well, at least with black background, because it constantly stays 100% dark. I hope these "show-stoppers" can be taken care of, because otherwise I love this particular piece of free software :) [alert admin]

Apple Mania 1.0 (Mac OS X)

how to use as screensaver ?

how do you install it as a screensaver? just dragging it to ~/Library/Screensavers didn't do anything at all. It didn't show up in "Desktop & Screensavers" preferences. [alert admin]

KisMAC 0.21a ()

Incorrect download link

The correct link for version 0.21a (the current link points to an old release -> R73p) is http://binaervarianz.de/downloads.php?action=download&mirror=http&file_id=38 . [alert admin]

MPlayer OS X 1.0pre8rc5 (Mac OS X)

Excellent, but could be better

This is my all time favourite app for playing video, but i find it disapointing it still doesn't do fullscreen right with CoreVideo and Quartz/Quicktime video out modules. It leaves the top menu always visible, spoiling the full-screen feature. This has been happening to me since MPlayer-dev-CVS-050904.dmg, but it didn't happen before. And btw, since MPlayer is GPL, can you tell me where to find the source code you used to build this release? I'd like to add some stuff like VC1 (WMV3) support, and maybe try to spot the full-screen bug and the only code i found was mplayer cvs and ffmpeg cvs, which i couldn't use to build the OS X gui + OS X release. Thanks, and keep those releases from this wonderful software coming :) typ0 [alert admin]
