Perakun (Chinese translation) plugin no longer supported  

I updated as I always have, as Firefox makes improvements. I usually use Safari, but some webpages won't work with Safari (often Google services). I have Firefox mainly for Rikaichan (Japanese) and Perakun (Chinese) plugins. After finding out that the Perakun is not supported in the latest update, I trashed it and reinstalled the previous version which I will use until a compatible plugin is developed. [alert admin]

Parallels Desktop 2.5 Build 3120.0 (Mac OS X)

2.5 Build 3120 Leaves me in the dark  

I have never had any trouble installing Parallels or the updates, but all I get is a black screen when Windows Xp finishes booting. I can hear it and I can move the mouse around the screen and even accidently launch an application on the desktop. ( I see the hourglass on a black background) I had to trash the whole folder. Luckily I had the 3036 build stored away and so I went back to that. I will be a lot more careful before I try another update. I love Parallels, but I just couldn't get this update to work. From the other feedback, it looks like I am the only one with this problem. Too bad. No reply from Parallels after I sent them a bug report three days ago. [alert admin]

I have always been able to specify which drives I want to test and exactly which tests I want to perform by checking boxes before I run the test. I have sometimes had the problem you mention, because I forgot to inspect the entire window to see the check boxes for my second and third drives which are not visible in the partial window view displayed.
