iTweaX 1.12 (Mac OS X)

looks good

not actually tried this yet ....I might have if i had known about it but it is not listed on the 'other' site for some reason. It looks good ....and I agree about onyx being bloated and not functioning properly ...i stopped using it long time ago. One thing i noticed when I started it up which I did not like was the invisible backup files it created. These should all be inside one clearly named visible folder. And there is no option to lock the dock size. Thanks [alert admin]

Pixelmator 1.3.2 (Mac OS X)

color management

it's getting there ....but there is still no preference to set the default color profile or disable it completely. you still have to manually pick or turn off the profile for every image you open. [alert admin]

Dvd Hunter 0.8.0 (Mac OS X)

fantastic

brilliant freeware ... I actually prefer it ti dvdpedia, at least the movie lookup works better, it's simple, fast. The only feature that it lacks (well, imo) is a cover view (view by covers instead of by list) [alert admin]

PleaseSleep 1.1 (Mac OS X)

not working with 'speed download'

after trying it a couple of times, my laptop still does not go to sleep while 'speed download' is running (after it has finished downloading and is idle) ...tried it a couple of times, once it went to sleep and once it did not, same ratio as when 'please sleep' is not running [alert admin]

PleaseSleep 1.1 (Mac OS X)

version 1.1 has issues

actually it sucks ....now whenever you launch the app or the prefs you get a popup asking if you want to disable the clock show watsit, and it will keep popping up every time, regardless of wether you click yes or no, so I trashed it [alert admin]

PleaseSleep 1.0 (Mac OS X)

works so far (i think)

I tried it once and my macbook did go to sleep, of course it may have gone to sleep by itself, I cannot tell because sometimes it does and sometimes it does not, so I cannot be sure if it was this app or not, but it definitely did not have any adverse effects so until the time I use it and it does not work thanks [alert admin]

VideoSpec 0.7.0 (Mac OS X)

great tool

this is excellent for really analysing video files, unlike the other(s) which simply use the included tags of the video file [alert admin]

PasswordWallet 4.3.5 (Mac OS X)

export problems with 4.4

trying to export 140 entries to an encrypted standalone web page resulted in spinning beachball and a warning that my drive was close to full (evidently from a temp file that was being written by passwordwallet) [alert admin]

support for Samsung Poor

yes, there are already alternate plugins available for the Tocco elsewhere. I think I had already suggested long time ago that the nova media change the name of this app to Nokia/Sony plugins since that is all they seem to support, their name is misleading. True, they never update any other phones ... they just ask for some data from your phone and then say they cannot do it. Low rating well deserved because the product does NOT…

Synium Software Developer

yeah, but it still logs unrelated items such as stuffit expander plist and also includes documents you have created such as movie files when you select mpegstreamclip and sometimes some critical system files that should not be included. It's a good app but the logging is not that intelligent.

Congratulations ...you are far and away VT's greatest Troll, probably of all time. Your abusive and incohereant ramblings perpetuate this site, if there was any moderation at all you would have been banned long time ago. You claim, in another thread, to be a genius ... I would say that you are an imbecile looking for attention. Here's hoping that you fall under a rock somewhere and dissapear for ever, but I doubt we would be that lucky.

We're working on it -- Camino 2 coming soon!

thanks for the feedback and the camino update.... it's not that I'm really ticked off, but I'm just happy with iCab for now. about the omniweb bug: if only one tab loaded at startup, some sites will restore, others will not. workaround 1 - go to another site that works, click on the 1pass icon, go back to the original site, it will now restore. workaround 2 - open a second tab, go back to the first tab and…

toRestoreFiles.rtf

you mean as opposed to a piece of clutter inside the folder? ;) I'm not really bothered but I just thought it would make more sense to remove this file completely and add the info in the help docs or the 'read me/manual'
