DVDpedia 4.5.3 (Mac OS X)
After using DVD Cache for years, and receiving excellent support, the program broke under Snow Leopard. Several attempts to contact them resulted in no response. I did some research and found DVDpedia. My inquiry as to compatibility with Snow Leopard and whether it could import the database from DVD Cache was answered in three minutes! Answer to both questions was yes! I downloaded the program and within 2 minutes had my entire database, posters and all, imported into DVDpedia. Much better program than DVD Cache! [alert admin]

DVD Cache 1.5.5 (Mac OS X)
Won't work with Snow Leopard 10.6
After 3 attempts to contact the developer, still no response. I have decided to switch DVDpedia and found their response time to my question about the ability to import the DVD Cache files was less than 30 minutes! Good news, if you have been using DVD Cache, this program will import the entire library complete with all information and posters quickly and easily. More versatile than DVD Cache, I regret having to change, but glad I did! [alert admin]

DVD Cache 1.5.5 (Mac OS X)
Has been my favorite for years but now...
I have used this program for years and have a very large collection of DVD's. Now after the upgrade to OS 10.6 Snow Leopard, the program is broken and will not access the library or poster files. Have sent messages to the developer, who has been very responsive in the past, but have had no reply. I hope my years of data entry are not lost! If the developer gets this fixed, I can give the program 5 stars, but if not I recommend anyone considering this program find something else! Toby [alert admin]

lot of other programs, this is one that actually works. Performs backups and file sync between office and home flawlessly every day. BettyCon - this is a utility that does what it is supposed to do. If you want pretty, download some pictures! [alert admin]
