Data Rescue II 1.2.1 (Mac OS X)

What DiskWizard does for making un-bootable Mac drives bootable again, Data Rescue does for recovering lost files. I really screwed up. I didn't just delete my files, I re-partitioned the drive and, as if that wasn't enough, I copied a bunch of new files to the volume. Only then, did I realize that I had just nuked my only copies of many, many irreplaceable files. Fortunately, Data Rescue was able to bring a surprising number of he files back from the grave. And best of all, it let me guide the process. I picked the files to recover and it handled all the tricky, icky bits. From here on out, I'm always going to have an up-to-date copy of Data Rescue on hand. [alert admin]

Homely but promising

Man, it sure ain't pretty to look at. Ugly enough to make most Windoze apps look pretty, in fact. Still, I've been looking for a good waveform creator/editor on the Mac for a while now. [alert admin]
