Transmission 0.80 (Mac OS X)
Transmission v0.8.0 seemed to be working fine and without any visible bugs (at first!) And the new functionality is really great! But then I noticed on certain servers v0.8.0 wont submit the time a torrent has been seeding. On certain servers it is necessairy - after downloading a torrent - to keep seeding it for a while. Then I got a warning to have stopped seeding several torrents to early! The strange thing is I was still seeding the torrents! Th tracker just didn' notice it. Using v0.7.2 those problems don't occur. I'm not sure yet if v0.8.0 caused incorrect ratio too, but until this bug is fixed, I ll have to miss the new functionality and return to v0.7.2 [alert admin]

AB Transfer 1.8.0 (Mac OS X)
Yesterday morning I purchased a Licence of AB Transfer, paid with Paypal. I didnt got a serial yet so I wrote an email to their support and in the afternoon also at their sales and some other email accounts. Because it's a german company and I'm living in Germany too, I also tried calling them at the tel.nr. of their website, but all day long (!), I only heared a busy tone... Well today it's still the same; no way to reach them by telefone and they still don't reply at emails. Ok, I must admit, I only tried for 2 days now, and perhaps I should wait a few more days... But other software companys are able to reply instantly after a Paypal payment, better even automatically send a valid serial. And what is the point why someone should buy this software? It's purpose is to be an easy and fast way to export addressbooks entrys in other formats as the standard vcard format Apple offers. That's why I purchased it; while I need to do this fast! There are other methods for getting this export done, maybe not that easy and fast, but in the end it's faster then waiting for a serial that doesn't seem to come... [alert admin]
