Not crippled or full of glitches - simple with many, many features and ease of use. Best of all it is freeware. [alert admin]

I asked the author why I had to continually update their software and if they could do a software update program for their software to make the lives of their users much easier instead of having to download a new copy almost monthly, unstuff it and replace the old version. It gets even more complex with the Emulator Enhancer add on which also needs regular updates. This is the reply that I recieved when I voiced these concerns: "I see no need for automatic updating, as such a feature provides a whole lot of dead traffic to my web site - which has to be paid for - and is a relatively minor issue as anyone who looks at my web page can quickly see what the latest versions are." -Richard Bannister March 13, 2006 So all we, the users, are to the author is traffic. This concept of visiting a website would be a decent idea in the ideal world but must be a complete headache for the modem users, the people that lack a constant internet connection and the people who actually want to play these emulators. If the author desires so much traffic then maybe he can do so by providing some content on the webpage such as more information/help files/forums on the products he offers instead of forced updates. I want to run an application that works, not a car that needs tuneups, upgrades add ons and trips to get serviced. [alert admin]

Quinn 3.1.1 (Mac OS X)
The amazing network capability, the appearance and the customization can not make up for the fact that this game lacks major features. Features that would engage all the participants against each other rather than playing "nice" Tetris. Presents. If I clear 5 lines, then those five lines should go over to the other players screen. Whether they drop on them or come from the bottom up - you decide. Speed. A speed up at some point should exist in addition. Bonus. Blocks that when cleared explode. Give extra points. Music. A simple midi would work. That said, it is a game with a lot of potential, but at this point it seems very beta. [alert admin]

Awesome compression and numerous options. A lot of work obviously went into this application and it shows. Compression is excellent, allowing clear pictures without substituting size. Some complain that it does not convert audio. Call me simple but I want an newsreader for my news, a music player for my music and a video compressor just for my video. When authors get swiss army knife on applications they lose focus on improving what is important. A queue option would still be greatly appreciated in future versions, and without a queue it is greatly hindered. Nonetheless, overall great software, and after going through numerous other software compression programs this is one of the few that actually works. [alert admin]

Speed Download 3.0 is not a replacement for Wife 1.0.. I noticed a comparison being made and wanted to clarify that the two products are completely different. However, if you are not satisfied by Wife 1.0. the only solution to Wife 1.0 is to install Divorce 1.0.. I suggest that you look in your manual under "Warnings - Alimony/Child support". I recommend you keep Wife 1.0 and deal with the…

Because software is free does not make it devoid of criticism. If that were the case, then everything free would be worthless, which it is not. Criticism of products help improve their quality, whether they be free or cost money. Furthermore, to get basic functions like keypad support, money is being asked for through the Emulator Enhancer plug-in. Finally, while these emulators that Richard provides are mostly amazing (minus the…
