Uno (with iTuno) does exactly the same thing, only the changes are system-wide, every window. Also free. [alert admin]

working for me since the first releases of both Safari Enhancer and FullScreenSafari (that's when I noticed the problem): If you've already installed FullScreenSafari just move the .ape out of Library/Application Enhancers. Run Safari Enhancer. Move the .ape back where you found it. Voila! [alert admin]
