BwanaDik 2.5 (Mac OS X)
I echo the comments below - this is THE BEST IP monitoring Menu Bar Application. I have tried many others and BwanaDik is now the best all round! Simple, elegant and does everything I want. I only reviewed version 2.0 a week ago and can't believe that version 2.5 is now out with E-mail support! The developer even replied to my review below. So, in a heart beat I have now donated as promised. Thanks for a great App John! [alert admin]

BwanaDik 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Very useful - but wish it emailed IP addresses ![]()

Bwanadik is a well done app that I have used many times and it was very useful when had a bad ADSL connection - especially the way it changes color. However I have had to go back to IP Menu (very similar program) as it automatically sends an e-mail if your IP address changes. If Bwanadik could incorporate an automatic e-mail system on IP change then I would use it and donate to the author in a heart beat. [alert admin]

Parallels Workstation 2.1b5 (Mac OS X)
I have been using Parallels for about two weeks now and love it! The latest Beta 5 upgraded with no problems. I have only had two crashes in two weeks so am very happy. I did have some problems enabling VT-X on a Core Duo Mac Mini, but in my case it seems that if I turn off Airport and just use the Ethernet connection then VT-X is enabled and active! I only use it for cross platform checking of web sites and MS Office documents that I design and it screams along. I have now packed up my old Windoze machine and sent it off to the closet. Apple iMovie HD 5.0.2 (Mac OS X)
iMovie HD Import Problem - FIXED!!
Many people have had problems importing video from their DV camera to iMovie HD. When trying to import DV footage, their camera shows it's connected and can be controlled within iMove, but no video actually displays or imports - just a Blue Screen... Sometimes the play/stop/rewind screen buttons disappear too... Zapping the PRAM, deleting plist preferences and re-installing iMovie HD does not seem to fix the problem! HOWEVER, opening GARAGEBAND, playing a few notes on the "screen keyboard" and then quitting appears to fix a CORE AUDIO problem and then iMovie HD imports and works properly!! Hope this helps! ----------- 20" iMac G5, 250GB HDD, 2GB RAM. Tiger 10.4.2. Panasonic NV-GS400 3CCD DV Camcorder [alert admin]

Degrees Down Under Widget 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Finally I can easily get the weather in Sydney - from Japan! After Accuweather seems to have disabled Apple's built in widget... Seems to work well so far although it took a bit longer thatn expected to update the weather when I selected a new town. Perhaps the Town and Time text could be slightly bigger? Thanks again! Magic Pen 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Simple, works and it's free!! Using it with OSX 10.4.1 no problems. I found you can resize the pen with the little scroll bar that appears under the "Colour Selector" square. Also it looks like the 4 buttons under the colour selector change the position of the controls to another corner of the screen. Only wish I could easily delete the "Pads" I am working with... Brilliant Again! [alert admin]

For a white screen, just open an empty "Folder" and resize it to full screen... You still see the menu bars, but it works for me!
