MediaLink 1.72 (Mac OS X)

I've been a paid user of MediaLink for years. I've waited patiently for updates and bug fixes. I own several other NullRiver products and I really want to like them. The latest update 2.0A1 broke completely on my machine. I wasn't able to revert to the a working version. I requested support and received no response. There isn't even any basic troubleshooting steps on their site. I found the free PS3 Media Server. It just works and does transcoding too! http://code.google.com/p/ps3mediaserver/ [alert admin]

I've used and purchased all the password managers. This is by far the best. [alert admin]

Transmission is free, fast and well documented and supported. Stay away from the maker of Acquisition. [alert admin]

Acquisition 2.0v204 (Mac OS X)
This is the only application that causes kernel panics on my Mac. I’m a registered user, I’ve made a number of attempts to contact the developer for support. No response. There is no support at all. Stay away! [alert admin]

Synchronize! Pro X 5.1 (Mac OS X)
Comment from 20 year Apple VAR
I have a real job as an Apple Dealer and Apple Authorized Service provider for 20 years. I also hold multiple Apple Certifications. The developer’s post about their users’ having real job is a perfect example of Qdea’s attitude toward their customers. On multiple occasions I’ve attempted to use Synchronize Pro for system backups, and it’s failed miserably. Often one doesn’t know until an attempt is made to restore. Qdea's support has been rude, unhelpful, and condescending. I’m a professional, with a job and I always check Version Tracker comments. Use Retrospect or SuperDuper. [alert admin]

Acquisition 132.7 (Mac OS X)
I've been a paid user for years, I recently requested support for a minor issue. There was no response from the developer, I've made several requests after waiting over a week each time. I was considering purchasing Xtorrent, but I can not justify this treatment. [alert admin]

You're thinking of Transmit; the excellent FTP application. Transmission is the best Bittorrent application. There is a difference. Check your facts before posting. In any case, stay away from Acquisition and it's developer. The worst application I've ever bought.
