Apple Xcode 3.1.2 (Mac OS X)
Sorry guys, 3.1.2 was released on November 24th. No idea why you're listing it for 2008-12-20... [alert admin]

Disco 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Considering all the pre-launch hype, this application is a complete rip-off. It's mainly a smokey wrapper about OS X's disk burning framework. One can easily use Disk Utility instead. They wanted to have Toast for breakfast. And we wanted an alternative to Toast. But Disco does not even come close. I am nothing but gutted. [alert admin]

Little Snitch 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)
Update from 2.0.1 resulted in a Kernel Panic
I've just performed the update from an installed v2.0.1 to 2.0.2. This resulted in a Kernel Panic during the necessary reboot (I OK-clicked the message that the Boot Caches were being updated)... But after the reboot everything looks fine. For me, Little Snitch is totally indispensable. Especially when you consider the low profile of Mac OS X' built-in firewall (even in Leopard). Microsoft Office Open XML Converter 0.2 (Mac OS X)
Since the installer just pops up and instantly disappears again, I can hardly judge this. [alert admin]

I could install the Safari 3 beta on my MacBook without problems on top of a German 10.4.9. I had no input managers or system modifications installed, though. Inquisitor works fine, no crashes so far. No visible speed difference compared to Safari 2. I like the Alt-draggable tabs. [alert admin]

CUPS 1.2.10 (Mac OS X)
Breaks the Adobe Acrobat PDF 8.0 printer
Since I've installed CUPS 1.2.9 my PDF 8.0 printer has ceased producing PDF. All I get in the OS X printer dialog with a red exclamation mark and an unspecified error. Console log says "crashdump[295]: DistillerIntf crashed"... [alert admin]

Disco 1.0b3 (Mac OS X)
Well, this is the first public beta, and I've registered right away. This is most stylish app that I've seen for ages -- and it works as advertised as well. Some limitations due to the fact that Disco uses the OS X burning framework. So "having toast for breakfast" was a bit bigmouth. But, as I already said: I LOVE this app and will use it for my "average" burn jobs from now on. But I have one wish: smoke fx for the MacBook... [alert admin]

OMiC 1.03 (Mac OS X)
Since I prefer Apple Mail these days I found this to be a highly valuable extension for its functionality. Works as advertised and totally transparently. Good job. [alert admin]

I've just installed it on Leopard. Works, just like 10.0.
