don't know what your problem is 
While it isn't as nicely integrated into the Mac OS X experience as some tools, it runs fine for me on my iBook G4. Crashes haven't been happening to me since 3.8. I don't think BF is as good an RSS reader as NetNewsWire on the Mac, but it works fine for me. The bug report tool won't work if you don't have an SMTP server configured in settings, but Jim Robertson can be found on the web easily enough. [alert admin]
