Wacom Tablet 4.94-4 (Mac OS X)
Did not solve my fast user switching problem ![]()

I removed wacom's old driver for my tablet. I then installed this update. I was really hoping that my tablet would now work properly when fast user switching was employed, but I was disappointed. I installed the new driver. I then switched to a second user. For that user it worked. I stayed logged in and switched to a third user and my mouse would not move across the screen. I logged out this user, then I logged out the second user and logged back into my user. Then, the mouse/tablet worked again. Fast user switching has never worked properly with this tablet on my computer, not since it was first instituted in Panther, and the problem continues on into Tiger. [alert admin]

Growth Charts 1.2.2 (Mac OS X)
With ten children, it is nice to be able to see how they are all growing without an expensive visit to the doctor. I input my son's height and weight. At 16, he is already 6 ft tall. It was interesting to see where he fell on the charts. I am looking forward to inputting the rest of my children's height, weight etc..... [alert admin]

Fob 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)
I use this time primarily to time my children in certain activities. If I am sitting at my computer and my children are supposed to finish a task within a certain period of time, FOB enables me to keep track of the time limit. Very easy and intuitive. [alert admin]

Transmit 3.2.1 (Mac OS X)
I was having problems uploading files via ftp with another program. The web server that I was using recommended that I try Transmit after learning I used a Mac. I tried it and the files that I had been unable to upload to his server uploaded fine. Transmit has a nice interface and is very easy to use. [alert admin]

Bookpedia helped me do a job that I had been putting off for years. I had started cataloging all my books (over 1000 of them) using Claris Works database and never finished. Now all my books are cataloged and it was so fast and easy. By inputting the ISBN #, the book information is all there. Just have to click add. Their support is great too. I contacted them about an issue with an earlier version and was immediately emailed back and the problem was shortly resolved. Thanks, Bookpedia. [alert admin]

Racing Math 1.0 (Mac OS X)
This is a really nice program for children to practice their math facts with. While fun, the game does not take away from the actual purpose of the software, which is to learn to do math facts quickly. Children will practice around 30 -40 problems in each race against the computer. The classical music selection is not annoying at all and can be turned on or off by students or disabled by the parents or teacher. I Highly Recommend this program!! [alert admin]
