Corel Painter 11.0 (Mac OS X)

Works great for me!

So far, so good! I'm not sure I would have made this a version bump but at least it is an update. I've been using Painter since it's inception and frankly 11 is the best it has ever been. Sure, it has it's idiosyncracies but so does PS. For me it's about getting my pieces finished and looking like I want them. Painter 11 improved on both of those. I will continue to use and I'm going to try to help improve the software. You have 30 days to evaluate the software. Use it and see for yourself. [alert admin]

Delicious Library 2.0 (Mac OS X)

Still no comics support?

I use to be a big supporter of DL but development seemed to slow to a crawl. Checking out the new version you guys obviously read comics in trade paperback form but what about individual issue input? Is it even feasible? I think the addition of categories like "tools, toys and clothes" is unnecessary for this type of application. I would have preferred keeping it to media and less "stuff in my garage." [alert admin]

1Password 2.5.12 (Mac OS X)

This is a must have!

I can't recommend this software enough. It's 100% useful, it has great support with fixes within hours when there's a problem and has a great support forum board. You won't regret purchasing this. [alert admin]

GarageSale 4.0 (Mac OS X)

Also purchased 3 months ago.

I'm pretty disappointed that since I purchased this back on Sept. 18th, 2007 that it isn't covered under the upgrade special. 3.41 was the last version that I had and now all of a sudden it's on version 4? Come on guys, I know MacWorld is coming up but can you cut us a break? [alert admin]

Geneforge 4: Rebellion 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)

Classic gaming. Modern Pricing?

Come on, guys... 25 bucks? I'm all for updating classic games but that price is ridiculous. You can find great bargain games for less than 10 bucks nowadays. [alert admin]

WowMatrix 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Where was this when I was still playing?

Man, I wish this existed when I was still playing. I was really big into add-ons and keeping them up to date. I guess better late than never? Good job! [alert admin]

Wednesday's List 1.5.3 (Mac OS X)

Cool application!

Pretty cool for the comic fans out there. As a comic store owner I recommend this! Now if we only had a decent catalog application for Mac users. [alert admin]

Bookpedia 3.4.1 (Mac OS X)

Great application as always

I have been using the *pedia applications now for a year and very satisfied. I had been using Delicious Library for several years previously until I began testing the *pedia apps side by side with DL. Yes, I must admit I wasn't originally happy with the separate applications but then I realized I have a ridiculous amount of books, CDs, DVDs and games that bloated DL causing it to load very slow. The *pedia apps do NOT suffer from this problem. I also appreciate the ability to pull information on various items from something other than Amazon. So, I've tested both and the *pedias win hands down. Thanks guys! [alert admin]

Good personal database program

There isn't an "upgrade" price. He basically just sold v1 and applied the money to purchasing v2. The only upgrade involved was just him purchasing the newest version. Did that make help?

Great product, but...

I would rather have the weird version numbers than version jumps that require me to pay for the upgrade.

RE: Serial Number not working

I have the same problem. I purchased mine back on Sept. 18th, 2007 which is less than 4 months ago. I downloaded from here as I check VT pretty often. If I had known about the Oct. 1st deal I wouldn't have done so. Twelve days off is close enough, right guys? *begs*

Useful...

I looked at Quicksilver and it doesn't look like it's even supported anymore. Dragthing is constantly being perfected and works great!

StarWars Scroll Screen Saver-Mac OSX

I think you're missing the point of this screen saver. It is identical to the opening scrolls of the Star Wars movies and allows the addition of the actual music. If you want more just watch the actual DVDS.
