Hear 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)

An audio plugin for $50

OK, this is going to be ambiguous. I have just about 50-150 other more important things in life than paying $50 for an audio plugin. No matter how "better" the music sounds afterwards. And, regarding the "need" for a better sound, let me remind you all that us, humans, are much better at discerning a "difference" between things than an objective quality of one without comparing it to something else. Second, we tend to get "used to" what we hear daily so every change, no matter how unneeded and unnecessary, may seem a "better solution", while all along it is only "different". My point: there is NO music, sound, speech...anything...I consider SO bad that I can't make it better enough via preamplification and frequency band equalisation. Especially when the "solution" costs $50. Told as a joke, "I am a wire hanger guy, not a "Monster cable" one". [alert admin]

Skitch 1.0b6.2 (Mac OS X)

An amazing piece of software!

I think that this software deserves no less than 5/5 stars by anyone who gave it a try. What a pleasant departure from an every day muck of the average-written, poorly-designed average software packages you bump into every other day. I will use it (forever) until it goes away, or I do. 8^)) [alert admin]

1Password 2.5.8 (Mac OS X)

A BUG

Way to go, you've introduced a bug into this version. It fails to attempt a backup twice in a same day. So, a first run in a given day is OK but very subsequent time it is run it puts up an error stating that: Backup Failed. Cannot copy 'my/keychain/path/keychain_name' to 'my/backup/keychain/path/keychain_name date (items)' Way to go, this really makes me want to put all my eggs into your app's basket...NOT. Makes you wonder, is it also going to fail adding new passwords now? One would think you'd run your app twice before putting it up for download...sheesh! [alert admin]

THIS IS ALL JUST A SCAM TO GET YOUR MONEY!!!

Guys, ladies, don't fall for this snake oil! This is a scam, if it was possible to predict the lottery numbers at all, this scammer would be in the business of winning large sums of money, not selling this lie. HE would be using it to fill his own pockets, not posting it here, waiting for the suckers to bite. THIS PROGRAM IS A LIE, IT NEVER DID, AND NEVER WILL PREDICT ANY LOTTERY! THE ONLY ONE MAKING ANY MONEY WILL BE THIS SCAMMER IS IF ANYONE FALLS FOR THIS STUPIDITY AND GIVES THEIR MONEY AWAY TO HIM [alert admin]

Little Snitch 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Not so great

I really liked the way Little Snitch used to be in the preference pane, it IS after all an important system-wide service. So, that is why v.2 looks worse. Also, it seems that the rule editor turned out for worse, too. Not only does it sometimes refuse to switch from IP field into the port one but also lacks the old and GRRRRRRRRRREAT way of allowing for a quick pick net ranges. I REALLY miss that one!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, the v.2 turns out to be an "upgrade" to a lesser, "easier to use" experience, just as Microsoft would have done it. 8^/ [alert admin]

I accept the test, I will try the demo and come back to tell the story. I will admit if wrong, I promise. Thanks for the reply. Cheers.

Synk is 10.4 only

To original commenter. Unless you're blind, this program is about 40% cheaper than the one you suggest. So...unless the term "same" was redefined, you...lie.

Ummm, I'm not sure I like this...

Thank you for the explanation and an offer to scope up the excutable. I admit, I have misjudged the developer. 8^) As a point, I guess the greatest negative impact was created by the fact that the "stripped" web page had several links which were dead. So , it didn't look too legit, sorry. Anyway, thanks again and I *will* try the program out. 8^)

Great Little App

That still doesn't explain WHY should I pay for it? Because you're paying? That would be pretty idiotic on my side. And, you...could get a free one, too. And then, you also "won't be able to live without it", too. Caught my drift?

Take a chill pill or go punch holes in walls somewhere. You've apparently mistaken this website for a private investigator after hours chat club.
