PMX 2.28 (Mac OS X)

Potentially great but flawed

I've been watching this app for quite a while as it has potential to be what many of my customers want, but the keeps missing the mark in the oddest ways. Not allowing new taks to be created other than through inserting, then by no other method than a menu option is bizarre. Please look at MacProject, the once great definitive program in this category. This could be a major player if the interface was just made functional. Right now I would not reccomend it because I wouldn't want to answer the calls. [alert admin]

MP3 Sushi 1.5 (Mac OS X)

Great - Simple-Free

I've recently set up a little stream for my friends which works fine. While the interface is simple, the functio is complex. Don't expect this free program to do everything perfectly all the time, but for the price the author did an amazing job and deserves a few bucks in donations. [alert admin]

Sendmail Enabler 1.1.3 (Mac OS X)

Needs better Docs

Great idea, and good functiality, but I'm stumped over the instructions ie: "Enter the server's URL" What URL? What Server? The instructions seem to assume that I have an Airport network, and don't explain how to set this up without one. Please, just a little more info. [alert admin]

Incompatibilities Mac vs. Windows

In Mac OS X ALL programs will produce PDF files without Acrobat. It's build into the print function.

Slow down!

Before everyone panics, I'm using 3.0.1 on an old PIsmo running Tiger and it works fine. There seems to be an unexpected problem with Panther that the developers are working on. Try not to trash the app too bad until it's been out a few minutes.

What?

"what we need is cropping of pdf's. so far only adobe acrobat can do that. anything else just does not matter." ' Excuse me, but the may a few other people on Earth who may find this useful in spite of your arrogance.
