Timbuktu Pro 8.6 (Mac OS X)
Timbuktu Skype component in v8.6 is PowerPC NOT Intel
I had to delete it from the TB2 package in order to keep my MacBook Pro Rosetta Free. [alert admin]

I love the CS2 Bridge. I could not add delete or modify metadata in my raw images without it. Or view them quickly. Or burn them to DVD with metadata. Or etc. #350 upgrade from Photoshop 5.5! [alert admin]

QT will not export the audio portion from most (any?) muxed MPEG 1 or 2 files. MissingMpegEdit! allows you to do that in a relatively straightforward fashion. Also, VOBs need to be deCSSed! There seems to be a lot of ignorant posters here. RTFMM! Requirements: QT Pro QT MPEG2 playback component QT MPEG2 export component (needed for save as MPEG2 only) Before Starting: Source files must be within the size limits of QT. The save as, will use the "last used" setting of whatever format you select. It is recommended to save a short clip at the desired options before starting is app. MAKE SURE SAVE AUDIO OR SOUND CHECK BOX IS ON. Open Mpeg2 or Vob: Select the source Mpeg2 or Vob file. The source must contain AC3, MP2 or PCM audio. Cut Selection: In addition to the start / stop boxes, the edit sliders in QT window may also be used if the boxes are left at 00. NEVER CUT THE FIRST FRAME Paste Clipboard at Play Head: Note: "Current Time" display does not update with moving of the play head in the QT window. Click on "Adjust Offset" then "Cancel" will refresh the display box. Paste MOV into MPEG: While the editor has the mpeg open you may Open Movie in New Player, This movie must be MOV, select desired selection from the timeline, choose copy. You can then close that window, then use Paste Clipboard from the editor, the clip will be inserted at play head. Paste MPEG into MPEG: Once the editor has opened your mpeg, you may press Open Mpeg again, convert and open a second mpeg. You can select and Cut from either mpeg, then Paste into the other. If you play the movie at this point, the video may freeze at the points it was inserted, press pause, then play to resume. This does not affect the final encoded video. Save the front window as mpeg or mov. Adjust Offset: There will be two audio tracks, the one muxed into the mpeg will still be heard, however the second audio is adjustable with the offset and will be the only one exported. Save as Mpeg or Movie: This will use the "last used" setting for each format. Please save a short clip at the desired options before using this app. The export as DV Stream is still under development, the sound will be corrupted. Always use the control strips Save, not QT's [alert admin]

America Online (AOL) 10.3.6 Beta 2 (Mac OS X)
Install AOL (Wilson) - Beta 3 Build 259A
Installed over 10.3 without problems. It saw the filing cabinet from AOL 5 that I had manually transferred over. AOL is no good, but it's slowly moving into the real internet (IMAP, webmail, etc.) [alert admin]

Neo 0.90 (Mac OS X)
would Master List at least 4 networks before searching (directions pop-up when you first launch Neo so read them.) Dial-up users are SOL for any file sharing IMO. [alert admin]
