uControl 1.4.4 (Mac OS X)

kernel extension not loading in 10.3.8

I've had no problems with uControl (I only use it to remap the option and command keys), until I installed 10.3.8. Now the extension doesn't load. Any workarounds out there? I tried that link in the comments that said it worked with 10.3.8, but that didn't work either. [alert admin]

MacMP3CD 1.2 (Mac OS X)

This program is getting better and better, and the developer cares!

I've used this program a few times, and it is only getting better and better. This is THE program to use if you have a car stereo that is capable of playing mp3s. It's great because it will downconvert v2 ID3 tags to v1 tags on the fly, without touching the files on the hard drve. My car stereo only plays v1 tags so that feature is great (yes I know iTunes can convert ID3 tags, but if you downconvert you lose album art, etc.). I am giving the program 4 stars, because the interface could be improved, and there are two features that would bring it to 5 star capability: iTunes integration (drag and drop from iTunes windows, and show playlists in MacMP3CD window), and the ability to convert AAC's to mp3s on the fly (I hate having to convert, burn, and then delete in iTunes).
The developer is really great, he has responded to me personally right away and has updated the program quickly to address issues of mine. [alert admin]
