NoSweat 1.0beta1 (Mac OS X)

better alternative

it didn't work for me either. but i found this site that not only has a safari plug-in to pull the data off your garmin forerunner, but stores the data and lets you export it formatted for google earth, which is really cool because you can see it in 3D: http://www.motionbased.com/ [alert admin]

iPSP v2.0.8 (Mac OS X)

DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY!

I paid via PayPal over a week ago and have not received a license or even a reply to my multiple emails asking them wtf. I don't know what happened to these developers since their last release, but it seems they fell off the face of the planet. PSPWare on the other hand sent me a license immediately and have had great support. [alert admin]

KDX 1.5 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

come on guys

everyone is getting so worked up over something so small. it works fine. in fact, compared to caracho or limewire or any junk like that this is easily a 5 star app. compared to past versions of kdx though, it definitely could use some work. navigation is still hard to access, i'd still like to be able to see how many users are on the server from the toolbar (like the old days), and they need to commission some better appearances. when people are developing great themes for apps like shapeshifter it's scary how bad the appearances are that are bundled with kdx. and i know there are better ones out there too - just not bundled (i made a panther one months ago: http://www.subface.com/downloads/subface_kdx_panther.sit and i've seen others that are 100x better than the ones bundled). this is obviously an important issue no matter how much haxial wants to ignore it - just look at the ratings on here. they should just accept it, fix it, and move on. all and all i still like it better than the rest and would recommend it over anything else to anyone wanting to get into more secluded private communities. and of course they charge for it...how else are they going to build it and survive? Extensis Portfolio 7.0 (Mac OS X)

still not quite as good

I still think iView Media Pro 2.5 is better than this new version of Portfolio. [alert admin]

Interarchy 7.0.1 (Mac OS X)

getting closer and closer to perfect

wow. there have been such GREAT improvements, even since v6 that were already much improved over 4 and 5. it's the near perfect ftp suppliment to the finder, and with tabs and the organized progress window it's more than i had expected. excellent work! [alert admin]

Ovolab Phlink 1.3 (Mac OS X)

works like advertised for me

I LOVE it. I hated using voicemail cause I couldn't visualize it and i couldn't save messages like I can with email, but this product rocks. I set it up just as they describe on their site and immediately worked correctly (definitely worth looking at all the pages on their site for script tips). Now I see who's calling on screen (and even their photo if i have it in Addressbook) and it routes it accordingly, and best of all it emails it to the right person - perfect for those who aren't around all the time. and the info in the email, along with the audio file that plays right in the email, is everything I need. And I haven't even started getting into the extra functions available. I'll be using this product for a long time, and so long voicemail. [alert admin]

KDX 1.23 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

get over yourselves

Ok, this is out of control. YOU CAN CHANGE THE APPEARANCE OF HAXIAL'S PRODUCTS. There are several new appearances you can download from Haxial's site to make KDX look different than the default appearance, and if that's not enough for you I've made an appearance that is as close to Panther as you'll get: http://www.subface.com/downloads/subface_kdx_panther.sit Now you can all stop complaining. As far as drag and drop, etc. KDX is built and has always been built with a system that makes it immediately compilable for multiple platforms (if it wasn't we probably would have to wait an extra month each time for the Mac version). It's a system with a system's parameters, and that's just the way it is. Get over it. As far as this release, they FINALLY fixed some usability problems they created with 1.1 so I'm VERY happy about that. Thank you Haxial. Now go enjoy the product! [alert admin]

strange

i got it last friday and the cd that came with it had this version in it - so not really an update. and the ipod didn't really need it because it had it on it already, so i guess it's just in case you need to restore factory settings. [alert admin]
