EasyWMA 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)

iTunes plug-in would be great!

It would be great to have EasyWMA as an iTunes plug-in. So we Mac users get the same iTunes funcinality as iTunes for windows! So I we could directly convert to apple lossless or aac, without the way through aiff and fighting through the depth of many folders and stuff... [alert admin]

Saft 6.5.8 (Mac OS X)

Excellent

First I thought, it's only full-screen for Safari and 10 bucks seemed to much for that feature, all windows browsers have. But now I saw the best feature: Open links with target: blank in a new tab, instead a new window. Then there is the easy PDF export with one context click, which saves with real text, etc. and a lot of other featues (the worst feature is aqua look. ;-) I instead want the other browsers to use brushed metal too) But a great product for an acceptable price! I will buy soon... (don't own a credit card, so it's complicated) Thanks and greetings, Stefan (stuepfnick@gmx.at) [alert admin]

VolumeWorks 1.1 (Mac OS X)

CAUTION! DANGEROUS!!

Never use this product! I tried to resize a non-boot volume from 76 GB down to 67 GB. I repaired the drive before the process with the Disk Utility, until there were no problems, and when i started the volumeworks process, it said: Defragmenting. I went away and came back some hours later. It seemed that everything just went fine! No error message and the new size was here! I was happy with the new 9GB partition, installed YDL and everything seemed fine. But later I found out, nearly half of the data on the disk is destroyed! Every second file doesn't open anymore or has false content! I guess it has moved some files, without correcting the folder-tree, or whatever it is called. Or it didn't move the data, but changed the "folder-tree". In any case is the result, that the real file position doen't match the file position in the node-tree, folder-tree or whatever it is called. That's a BIG BUG and makes the software crap! Beware of using it! IT WILL DESTROY YOUR DATA! Make a Backup before trying it out! (then you can use Disk Utility too, so this app makes no sense). It should be called alpha version or something like that and needs a lot of testing and fixing! I read a test and it seemed they had no problems, but maybe they didn't really test the files on the drive! My mistake is a warning for you! Hope this helps someone... [alert admin]

EasyWMA 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

iTunes integration

It would be nice to have as an iTunes plug-in to get a iTunes for windows like experience. There you simply drag a wma file (or more) into iTunes and it is converted to your import settings (very good wma2aac quality). Would be great to have that feature for mac too! Stefab PS: It's a shame that iTunes for windows has this feature and the mac version not. [alert admin]

iWork 2.1 (Mac OS X)

@ iandarby & features

LOL! You are really talking nonsense! Adding a client is task of seconds, if even. A simple drag does it. This is the only project managment software I found, which is really intuitive. I like the sleek and easy to use interface. No manual or anything needed. Just start it and you are into it. It has a perfect address book integration, and an ok ical integration. I really love it, although it has some issues wich will be hopefully gone in the next release. My main problem here is, that it does not work together with windows. I need a similar App, with address book and ical integration, but also working for windows. The server should run on Windows 2000. Other stuff, that could be better: • A working search field, that searches all fields simultanouisly and shows a list of results similar to itunes. so more a filtering as a search engine. • Also it could use a better iCal integration (sync everything automatically, or with one click, not every event, and every task) and automatically add reminders. • Open job associated files or folders without starting a timer. • When starting a timer over the menu bar, ALWAYS make a NEW event. The way it is now (it adds time to an existing event and totally messes start and end time), messed up my time calculation totally and had to sit there some hours to track back, how long i really worked on what. • It could need much more export possibilities, like export to xls, rtf, better pdf options, and more control when sending invoive by email. So I would love to see rtf exported work lists of my person for all projects at once, with a single click. etc. Also it is a little buggy sometimes. But it really is the best I found (yet). I hope I can find something that is similar (or better) and works together with windows! Unfortunately we have a mixed office of Macs and PCs. Would be great to have macs only! Just my 2 cent, Stefan [alert admin]

Creative Manager Pro 6.2 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Hmmm

Hello! I only tried the demo and it seems sort of ok. I really want a good project management software with address book and ical sync that runs on mac AND windows. First I thought this might do it for us, I saw the price: 35$, that sounds really cheap. So we could set up a server on our Win2000 station and use the other computers as clients... but then the infos here: 35$ PER MONTH!! That's a joke! And than the data is stored far away! That's real crap! I would never ever use software that way! At the moment I run iWork, which is really great and intuitive. It's clean and very simple (no useless clutterd stuff) and costs only 29$ ONCE! It is OS X like and works well together with address book and ical. There also is a server version available, which would be great, but the only problem is, it's mac only! We just have a Windows 2000 Server and some windows machines which should run the software too! I want some software like iWork for Mac and Win, and it should work well together with address book and ical on mac, and outlook (or anything else) on windows. So I can sync the project dead lines, performed work, customer data easily with my cell phone, to take it on the road. But we surely won't buy a 6000$ app, or pay over 100$ a month for distant stored company data. That's useless. We need our data, even if internet is broken or the servers are down, etc. And we don't want to share it. Even if they say, the data is safe, no one can know. For me the interest in this "app" (which isn't actually an app at all) has died. Does anyone know other solutions? (I want iWork for windows!!) Thanks and greetings, Stefan [alert admin]

Islands mini golf 1.0 (Mac OS X)

broken

Would be fun, if it would work! When I start up I only get to see the top 1/5 of the screen on the bottom of the screen. The rest is black. No selection of the menu possible, etc. Any ideas, work-arounds? I have an iMac 17" widescreen. Maybe it does not work with 16:10 displays? greetings, Stefan [alert admin]
