Wallet 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)
version 2.7.1 is working, update to 2.7.2 freezes and hangs up my computer completely. update from 2.7.1 to version 3.0 or 3.0.2 is okay, but.... import of my old database is impossible. password will not be recognized, the programm says password is not valid. i had same problems with update from v1 to v2 in the past. only way: retype all content in v3. that is inacceptable for me. that is my last update, this software is completely garbage. D-Vision 3.2.2 (Mac OS X)
Hmmm, on my iMac CoreDuo, the crop function doesn't show the right crop area. And long DVDs (greater than ca. 1:50 hours) lost the end of the film. Crazy, with Quicktime the divx length is too small and a few minutes on the end are lost, with VLC it works! I have test this with a few dvds, all compressed xvid have no end. I have used this setup: newest D-Vision 3.2.2, Xvid, 2pass, best quality, 1200kbit/s - Source is DVD. Version 3.1.5 on my Cube has no problems that i have described above. [alert admin]

Keyboard Builder 0.6 (Mac OS X)
When i put one of a generated keylayout-files in the folder, tha system (10.3.4) will don't boot correctly. It crashes and it goes into the tsh-shell of darwin. It works with the example.keylayout file,but not with new generated files. [alert admin]

SubRosaSoft CipherDisk 1.0 (Mac OS X)
a little tips for a better use on Powerbooks...
When i wake up my Powerbook from sleepmode, all access on the Cipherdisk protected disks works! This is a little bit dangerous. It should unmount the protected disks + dialogbox with request for a new password entry. And a nice feature would be a short keystroke for unmount all Cipherdisks. [alert admin]

Great product,but it could be better 
1. It works good,but .... the handling could be better. You MUST boot from another drive for encrypt or decrypt the drive. The problem: The software can´t unmount the partition of a drive from where you booted. Perhaps it´s a problem of the OS? 2. The Software can´t encrypt the bootdrive. I´m not lucky about that. I think,the most users have the most software installed on the bootdrive. What we need is a little bootstrap loader in the Bootsektors, like OpenFirmware, with password protection BEFORE the OS starts! 3. A little App for the Startup-Folder with a password dialog would be fine. Okay,i could start with the Cipherdisk.app,but i will not encrypt/decrypt every startup. A little box with password dialog would be enough. Better would be to use the Startup-Userdialog of OSX to use for both, access authentication for Computer and Cipherdisks. It´s not userfriendly to type 2 passwords on every start of the computer. 4. The dialog boxes of Cipherdisk can´t handle the Return key. I must click on it. So, i give you 3 stars for this nice program today. With the listed features above i would give 5 stars later... [alert admin]

to DVD RW ? That´s a joke from Dantz. I have a Firewire DVD-Burner with NEC ND-1100A but it don´t work with Retrospect. It´s in the device list, but when you will start the backup, Retrospect don´t find a DVD-Burner. With Toast no problem. [alert admin]
