Skype 2.5.0.85 (Mac OS X)
Nice technology - shame about the interface... Doesn't integrate with anything very well on the Mac. Importing from Address book, doesn't work properly. You can't edit phone numbers, you have to delete the complete entry and start again! This company have obscene amounts of money, so perhaps they might bother to get something sorted. [alert admin]

Cheetah3D 3.6.1 (Mac OS X)
Could be a nice program... BUT:
At first this looks like a nice program, but the interface is very, very modal. This makes it incredibly difficult to do the simplest things, like selecting a group of objects. ( yes, I have read the manual!) At least it is low cost, so hopefully things will improve in the future. [alert admin]

Mozilla Firefox 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Well, its got fatter, and slower! Scroll bars don't draw correctly half the time. No progress from version 1.5.x as far as I can see. I have far more problems with this program than with Safari.!! [alert admin]

Mozilla Firefox 2.0 RC 2 (Mac OS X)
looks like it might be slightly better than the usual Mozilla buggy junk. I suppose its free so we shouldn't expect miracles. :0 [alert admin]

Cryptic installation, poor instructions, and doesn't work properly. Use RDC from Microsoft. [alert admin]

NeoOffice/J 1.1rc (Mac OS X)
Finally, something that works well and has good documentation. Well done for trying to make it more OSX-like. The only slightly negative points- Quite slow-needs at leat an 800mhz G4 and lots of ram. Has a rather Windows95/java look. Can be a little over complicated sometimes, but then so are most full-on office programs. Gice it a try! [alert admin]

If you have a very large collection of files this program struggles, and will probably crash. The authors of this program don't respond to feedback or questions. Still, I guess its free so I shouldn't expect it to actually work should I.... [alert admin]

This program does NOT work correctly. Not a very good advert for the company and their software. Look elsewhere. [alert admin]

Quite a fast page renderer, but a resource hog and buggy, like most Mozilla software.... [alert admin]

Great idea, and has a lot of potential. BUT: The whole patching connection system need redesigning. Totally odd and difficult to figure out what the hell is going on. I know its only v0.5, but as this is the main function of the app. it needs to be fixed. [alert admin]

But again, a little documentation always helps. You seem to pride yourself on installs being difficult. if you like it that way then i feel really sorry for you.

This could be a useful plugin, but the developer does NOT respond to emails, but seems quite prepared to take money for an unsupported product!!! DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE....
