Spindownfix 1.1 (Mac OS X)

needed for Panther?

Someone knows if the spindownfix is needed in Panther or did they Apple solve it? [alert admin]

I've used Spindownfix for more than a week now and it seems to work. But indeed only until restart. So I put it in login items, but now everytime I start up, it asks me for my administration password. Can't this be automated in the script so it automatically logs in? thanks for any help. Mark [alert admin]
