Registry Mechanic 3.0 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
Registry Mechanic 3.0 finds pretty much every posible registry error you can imagine....When it does a deep registry scan of your system it literally leaves no stone unturned. I have tried MANY of the so called registry fixit programs out there...(shareware and payware) and they don't come close to what this program does. Don't take my word for it....try a few other programs that repair your registry and then then run Registry Mechanic after them and see what the others missed. A complete scan of your entire system does take longer than most other programs out there I found but I just ran it when I had 10 minutes to kill. [alert admin]

Eudora Pro 6.1 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
I also have used Eudora Pro on my Mac. (still do) and decided to use it on my PC also. I know there are other email programs out there that are free with similar features (like Firefox) but I have been using Eudora for so long now that it has become an addiction. I love the interface and the control I have over options. I can't remember the last time I ever had a problem with using the program ever. I really can't comment on the tech support but I have heard that it isn't the best, but I guess you have to have a problem first. The built in spam remover I must say needs to be worked on, I didn't see an option to have the spam trashed immediately as it puts it holds it in a folder which you must manually delete eventually. I use Spam inspector with Eudora Pro now. [alert admin]

Yup..it downloaded the pics from the webshots website just fine(1 at a time) but I also used my own pics with it...Maybe it's just me but my Appearance CP doesn't degrade the pics as much as using the WS app. There is absolutely no documentation that comes with the app. and the help section on the website itself is FAQ only that I could see...nothing telling you how to use it. I had used the PC version b4 and it allowed the pics to be rotated at certain intervals (which is what I expected) but they didn't rotate at all with the mac version (nothing in the prefs either). I never used any previous versions of WS for mac b4 and this newest one really bites. [alert admin]
