eShox 3 3.76r32b (Mac OS X)
This was once a well supported product which worked very well. Unfortunately, the development now is almost non-existent and the last couple of updates have had serious problems. Take a look at the bug tracker and you will see what i mean. Buyers beware! [alert admin]

Kerio MailServer 5.7.8 (Mac OS X)
I have tested most of the OSX mailservers at one time or another and Kerio is by far the easiest and most stable/reliable mailserver that I have used. There are cheaper alternatives per mailbox, but you really do get what you pay for with Kerio which is a first class product with excellent support. [alert admin]

IPNetSentryX 1.2c1 (Mac OS X)
Hooray for backups! I'm a big fan of IPNSX, but this version crashes everytime on launch! This is on 10.3.3. Luckily my backup works fine. Install with caution! [alert admin]

PHPStar 2.24r2 (Mac OS X)
This is how software should be developed. As already stated, top support, documentation and a company who listens to what its users want. If your running Websar 5.3 , then you really should install this. These guys really do deserve a donation! [alert admin]

Thursby DAVE X 4.1p3 (Mac OS X)
"The Installer package DAVE 4.1p3 can not be opened." "The preinstall script was either not executable or not readable." Doesn't seem to want to work on my powerbook with 10.2.8. Hmm. Does the job very well normally. [alert admin]

HP Scanjet 5300 series 3.2.1 (Mac OS X)
on 10.2.2 but then installed another HP scanner (5700) with new scan software and that didn't work at all. Uninstalled everything. Re-installed 5300 and it doesn't work at all. Morale of this story is if it ain't broke, don't fix it! HP, please get it working properly with 10.2!! [alert admin]

I fail to see why people use os x. Windows has a gui, allows word processing etc. You can use other languages, which are built in. I fail to see the point in variety. I hope you see the irony in these types of comments.
