MacTubes 2.4.1 (Mac OS X)

I've found that my copy of Tube tv doesn't work anymore despite re-installing many times. Since it hasn't been updated for ages, I figure it's time to look elsewhere. This does a great job and seems to be very stable, although it doesn't appear to be able to convert you video files for ipod etc. This isn't really a problem since quicktime, iTunes and many other software packages will do that for you. So all in all, this is quick, easy, thorough and a great app [alert admin]

PodWorks 2.8.5 (Mac OS X)

Used to be great....could be great again!

I bought podworks to enable my 80gb ipod as a storage device for my record collection. It was the most important piece of software I had after iTunes, until about 3 months ago. As many have pointed out, podworks hasn't been updated for so long that my copy just doesn't work anymore. It crashes on startup or when I try to connect to my pod. Re-installs etc do nothing. The application just doesn't work with the latest versions of itunes and 0s 10.4.9 I'm pleased to see that the developer is working on it once again because as I said before, I would recommend everyone buys it, but only when it's been fixed. Until then steer well clear. [alert admin]

Didn't work for me

If you search for 'youtubedownloader' under mac osx on version tracker, it doesn't give any search results. Search on google and it comes up with a Windows program. How is this a solution to a mac problem? If you do have a better application for mac then please paste in the web URL.
